Service Techs in Northern Virgina

Who has a good recommendation for service tech in Northern Virginia. I have always previously gone to BMW of Fairfax, so out of that location is a plus.

I will need to do my 1,200 mile M service in a few hundred miles. I have already printed off the list of part numbers to ensure they have everything in stock before going.

Thanks!

I wish I can answer your question, but I do not know. Could you share the list of part numbers you have? TIA.

I know we've got that PM thread going, but if you're used to BMW Fairfax, I might just say go there and have them knock it out. Just call them a day in advance so they know you're going to come and expect to have it worked in the am while you wait. Others might have a different opinion for some reason, but I think each of us will have different experiences with different dealer bays anyway.

FFX BMW
SA - Frankie Johnson
Service tech - Rob

Do a search and look them up online.

I'm sure others have favorites but these two were highly recommend to me a while back, and they have been stellar. I am very particular!

If you need more i'll do it over PM.

I go to FF and Passport depending what I have going on will depend on which
Dealership I will take my car. FF has been good I would recommend them as
well as Passport. My daughter goes to Sterling and had some good things to say
about them as well. I have an appointment to have my 1200 mile service done
at FF this coming Monday morning.

Hi all,
my 1200 mile service is coming up and I think I want to give BMW of sterling a shot.
Can anyone recommend a service adviser and a tech?
or should I just reach out to Frankie and Rob at ffx?

My car has been coded so I do not want them to mess with the ECU and the free wash is definitely a "no no"

Ask for Mark Kwon. He's good to deal with and never had any problems plus he's a car guy.

If you don't mind the hike, BMW of Silver Spring. I know it's in MD, but they've done me and another forum member here right. Ask for Thomas Grant, and Carlos as your tech.

Do NOT go to BMW of Alexandria. One time I had service done there and they forgot to hook back up the waste gate to my 335i Turbos. I was pissed!

thanks guys
i will give mark Kwon at sterling a shot.

Ive used fairfax in the past, it wasnt bad but they almost never have loaner's
available even when I requested it days prior. I am very impatient and hate to sit and wait.

however, I must say they do have a very nice facility

I hate the loaner car policy there. I've always had to complain about it to get a loaner or just plan on not getting one.

I'll second BMW of SS and Thomas Grant. Also, while you are there, get Mo to do your Encore Delivery. Helpful tips, and a $50 gas card for your troubles.

Me too! Mo did my Encore Delivery! Very nice, and very knowledgeable! Ask him if you're still in service on your car so he can do your Encore Delivery. Free $50 gas card!

First come first serve. What time do you drop off?

I usually drop it off in the morning during the week but by the time I get there the line is out the door and through the parking lot. The service advisor usually just has me abandon my car in line and just go reserve a loaner.
