Along with the short shift kit, the Ultimate Clutch Pedal should be considered as well.

Here's one short shift kit

Not sure how good it is.

Be interested if there are any others.

In for this as well. I'm hoping it will also fit the F32. Anyone know off hand how similar the 6MTs are in the M4 and 435i?

shifter on M3/4 is so good you probably wouldn't feel much difference if it woulnd't make things worse

FYI I called UUC yesterday, they have one under development and they hope it's available in 4-6 weeks. I had one of theirs in my e90, and was happy with it.

They don't know what they are doing for an exhaust yet, so that will be a while.

Yup i need one as well. I personally also don't feel the shifter knob. I might go full crazy and adopt the CAE shifter from my E92 into the F80.

I put a short shifted in my E36 M3 Evo and regretted it.

More notchy and greater effort.

Is the standard F80 that bad?

I understand in a truck like thrown transmission like my AE86...

Not to stray too far off course but will there be plans for an alcantara shifter/knob?

Could you maybe give a bit more info? Like a link, or at least who exactly ACM is, since the acronym is not ringing a bell for me
