As per title, I am onto my 2nd DVD drive within 8 months (luckily both covered under warranty) but would like to get a 'newer/latest' Sat Nav Disc.

I have a 2006 E92 I Drive (CCC) and the current disc is an 06 disc.

Apologies to someone on here who do did agree to sell me one but I had identity fraud and accounts were blocked! all sorted now.

Do the new discs come with speed cameras?

Hooky versions are all over Ebay. I've got one, and it works ok, but the disk is a little bit noisy when spinning.

Originals are available but are relatively expensive.

No real need to spunk a load of dough for an original IMHO. I got mine from Rusty (well regarded and trusted forum member), £25 works fine but as mentioned is a little noisier but is a 2014 map and has other enhancements over the original 2006 BMW DVD

thanks, i did have a 'moody' one but i think that could be why i have had 2 dvd drive replacements recently……

I used "rustys" one before but not a good experience tbh. Quite loud and slow loading times.

PM sent. the fake ones start off really well and you get speed cameras, but as time goes on, the noise gets loud and i believe they damage the reader hence 2 DVD Drive replacements….
