Belt parkway. Roads better?

Hi all,

Gotta goto Coney Island next Saturday. How's the belt parkway coming from JFK? Roads still bad? Is there parking in Coney Island?

Wasn't too bad on the way to the airfield a couple of weeks ago but I went slow. I still prefer the Bqe when going to Brooklyn but it looks a lot better than I remember.

The roads aren't horrible but they are still pretty bad. Especially by the draw bridge and the gas station. Coney Island will have little to no parking on the street. If you find a park it will probably be on a residential block. I would suggest finding a good parking lot to park your car in.

Was just on them the other day. Wasn't a bad drive at all, repaved a lot of it. Exit 2 to Exit 1 going is still unfinished and was stupid. But I don't think you will be on that side of the road.

Was driving on it a couple nights ago and it was fine. They repaved it so you don't have to worry about the potholes from the winter. There are a couple dips though but you'll be fine.
