zimmermann cross-drilled rotors

Hello everyone,

Just got some new brakes yesterday thanks to Robert and the guys at EAS in Anaheim. They got me Zimmerman x-drilled rotors, pads, fluid, etc, for less than half of what the stealership wanted so I'm pretty happy about that! The feel is just like OEM, and though it's not a bbk, it looks better than the factory rotors.

Took a couple quick shots behind the mall too enjoy!

Yeah, I was looking around at different options, including Turner, but what sold me was they said that Zimmermann is made in Germany and actually an OEM supplier to BMW, Porsche, etc. I was a little skeptical at first when I saw the rotors because they looked like they had been painted silver and weren't shiny like a normal rotor. They said it's called Coat-Z, some kind of coating on the rotor, but as soon as I drove the car a couple of blocks, the color became normal, so it's fine now.

Not really sure yet, as the car was at the dealer pretty much right after i got the brakes done because I was having some other work done and just got it back this evening, but I will test it out this weekend!

Looks good. Can't go wrong with Zimmerman rotors. I just got my slotted r1 concepts rotors installed

just went to the mall and they had one of those carts that make like license plate frames, mugs, tshirts, etc. i thought it was only fitting because my last car ended up like this:
