Long Island coder needed
My obd reader does not recognize, so won't clear the airbag light. Before I make the trip to Steve in Brooklyn I wanted to see if anyone closer to east northport can clear it for me. I threw the code because I started the car without the steering wheel bag this weekend.
Thanks guys

Thanks again dude Edit* Steve has also cleared a code for me in the past and did not ask for anything in return. Probably because he can do it with his eyes closed by now. Always answers his phone is I have questions. Another gem for this forum.

Awesome man, was it as simple as clearing the code, or did you have to code something out?

It's possible, not coding the light out, but disabling the airbag that is throwing the warning.

Bump for a coder in long island that can clear or reset my frm. I am getting the right brake malfunction warning. I changed the assembly and still have the warning so I am thinking that the warning message is locked in the cu since it came on 50 times. Well at least that is what I read on our somewhere. Apparently the only way to clear it is to have it coded out.
