Traded in the e92 335 >> Hello RRS S/C

I've been shopping for a bigger vehicle for a while now. I need something big enough to haul the family up to the mountains for camping, skiing, etc. I loved my e92 and we had a good 4 years together, but it was time to move on.

Picked up a 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Edition over the weekend. I'm absolutely loving it so far, although I'll probably cry a little the first time I have to fill it up at the gas station!

This is pretty much my dream "do-everything" vehicle.

I mean, what CAN'T this car do?

I remember on Top Gear (BBC) it outran a john cooper s-works mini on the track, and then they took it offroad where it kicked some ass.

awesome car! and you got it in the right color!

I cringe when I see people buy a gas guzzler, but life is too short. Congrats on the purchase!

Nice find! start setting aside money each month for maintenance, use to drive a range rover, a lot older one though 1998. Damn thing always had something wrong with it. had to replace air suspension, water pump and a list of small things. still loved it though, offroad the sh^t out of it and held true. wouldn't buy any other SUV. Its well known for being the most unreliable, reliable SUV out there. good luck

I learned a secret about Carmax and will probably try to buy all my used vehicles from them going forward. They offer long warranties even on older and higher mileage vehicles. So even though the RR is a 2010 with mileage in the 50k range, I still bought a comprehensive warranty from Carmax that covers 5 years or up to 125,000 miles! While it won't cover maintenance items, it should save me significantly on high dollar repairs over the next few years.

Had my 2010 RRSS for 4 years now. Airbag suspension faulty, transmission faulty, differentials faulty.. And the list continues... But I still love it lol. You gotta pay to play sometimes.

Congrats on the purchase

you wont regret the comprehensive warranty. I actually put better aftermarket airbags and compressor in when they went out and made it ride better and was able to adjust the suspension quicker and they both came with a lifetime warranty. yours being a autobiography edition, I wouldn't wont to take it off road but you got to take it at least once just to feel how great they do in any environment. I'v forged mine somewhat and hill climbed in Idaho desert and even being a older 98 it didn't even hesitate. and it makes the snow its Beotch. perfect vehicle where you live. I want one again
