Angry Shadowline trim peeling

While washing my car the other day I noticed that the shadowline trim near my side view mirror has peeled off significantly. I noticed the peeling on the shadowline trim before along the top of the trim but it was never as severe as this. Even though I am not covered under the CPO warranty would the dealership still replace the trim for me?

Ask the dealership...? I'm sure your mileage will vary with dealership to dealership. If not, don't have them replace it and have it wrapped.

Yeah, the real question is is that actually OEM trim, or did the previous owner wrap it before they turned in the vehicle? I thought the factory shadowline was plastic, but that looks like it's actually aluminum underneath.

If your car is not m sport. Then your trim is not OEM gloss black so dealer will not do anything, it's either painted or vinyled...best solution IF dealer does not help get it vinyled over it again or re vinyl if it's old vinyl. That's it

So then you have a shot at the dealer, if not..repair with vinyl is fast and cost effective also..so you have nothing to worry about

Even if the car wasn't ZSP, the previous owner could've swapped it before turning the car in.

Left corner looks like it was scraped on something...maybe that's what caused it to peel to begin with? If that's the case then...dealership will tell you to pound sand

It may be the picture but I haven't seen any shadow line trim look like that damaged or undamaged. OEM SL trim looks like it's anodized. That looks like a cheap wrap that is failing. Ask me how I know. I'm replacing my wrap with shadow line.
