whats up guys, so last saturday, I went to bmw service center to get oil change, brakes, spark plugs and brakes done with jb4 installed!! dropped off the car last saturday in the morning and my SA, (he looked tough as nail btw) called me in the evening saying my car is scheduled to be done within a few days and wanted me to leave the car over the weekend. I was like whats going on?? i was thinkin maybe my SA found out and I might lose my warranty bc normally, they get it done on the same day! neways, so today, when my sa called me again, i was pretty much thinking im a dead meat and was rdy to accept that my warranty being voided. Instead, my SA informed me, the car is all set and is rdy to be picked up i hope my SA is not on this forum!

Regular maintenance, shouldn't matter. However, go in with a blown engine with JB4 and they'll surely blame it on the tune.. lol

lol i just realized it. well, i blew my engine twice already due to overheating and my transmission when i had e60 530i. it was pretty much stock car + rpi scoop only. my SA was blaming it on RPI SCOOP and voided my warranty haha j/k. i was already out of my warrranty n they charged me 2g just to take out all the engine and its parts. didnt have any luck with that car. check engine light came up on the next day i purchased it, n had to tow my car back to the service center haha.

At smithtown if you need warranty work they won't do it if you have a tune.
I brought my n55 in there cause both 02 sensors went and I took off all mods and tune. They told me I have to pay to have it fixed cause they could tell that the ECU was tampered with and it looked like I had a tune.

really?I have been habberstad customer for long ass time. they charged me 2k just to take off the engine part for e60. r u from suffolk country??? i only see fancy grandmas driving convertible 335i around my town

They can't void a warranty unless they prove it caused a problem. I had my rep at Habberstad try to void the warranty on my last e92 when the adaptive headlight module failed and he tried saying my lux angel eyes were to blame and my warranty was to be voided. I fought with them about it and told them to prove how the lux caused the problem, and they were not able to prove it so my warranty could not be voided. Little do they know I had aftermarket hid fog lights that caused the problem lol but I did remove them before the car went it. Just be careful when your modded car goes in for service, they will try to blame car problems on ANYTHING aftermarket.

I always go in with full bolt ons, i get my turbos replaced with my downpipes on. I don't see why OP is so surprised?
