iPhone 7 not working with Bluetooth in my 550i

Does anyone out there have an iPhone 7 and successfully having it work with the cars bluetooth? I have a 2008 550i and my new iPhone 7 keeps disconnecting with the cars Bluetooth even though the I drive screen says it is connected. The only way I have found to make it work is to turn off and on the Bluetooth on the phone every time I want to make a call. I have noticed that it can take a minute or two until the Bluetooth disconnects. I think it might be a software issue with Apples's 10.1.1 as my iPhone 6 had a similar issue after I updated the software.

3 cases are possible here: problem with 550i bluetooth, problem with the iPhone 7 connection or the last one, the most probable - some problems with the new Apple iOS. You can try to contact these guys from MisterFix to discuss with professionals what can be the problem. In case of something serious they will fix everythig fast.
