What car did you have when you got married?

Post a photo of the car you had when you got married.

I'll start. I'm an old guy so this goes back to 1972. I had a 1968 AMC Javelin SST. Loved that car. I never should have sold it! The good news is my bride is still with me. We will be celebrating our 44th next month. Who says AMC cars can't be chick magnates

Married in 1989 (27th Anniversary was Friday) and I had a Ford F-150. I don't remember the year for sure, but I think it was a 1980.

Nice! Happy anniversary.

Your F-150 is probably still on the road somewhere. My '68 Javelin SST is most likely gone.

Great car. I understand why you miss it. Those were the days.

I miss my '88 528e probably the most. No horsepower or torque, but it was plenty of fun.

Got married in 1974 and I had a 1971 Corvette that I had bought new when I was in pilot training. My wife and I just celebrated our 42nd anniversary - wish I still had the Corvette too!

That may be true but not always the case....

My wife had a great job when we got married and she got me though college and grad school. I'm not sure I would have stayed in college without her advice and support. She would rather have money in the bank than spend it. We likes to splurge on vacations, homes (an increasing asset) and my car (to make me happy). I have to urge her to get a new car (so I can drive it.) After 43 years of marriage and 5 years together before that, I have to say I'm the lucky one.
