Lowered the 718

Finally was able to source some springs and had her lowered yesterday

Very happy with the ride quality, very close to what it was stock.

Went with the H&R Sports

Had spacers, but had to hold off on install due to one of the bolts being wrong size.

love the new look and feel....

To be honest, I think you're a bees dick too low at the rear.

Something is off. Would like to see other photos, it's really subtle but maybe needs spacers?

Looks much better than stock but H&R lowers a tad too much imo. Glad you finally got it done though after the whole debacle.

Looks awesome!

With that much lowering on stock shocks, I wonder if you're going to constantly be on the bump stops.

thanks, it's only about an 1.5" drop....would only hit bump stops on a huge pot hole....They wouldn't sell any if they were constantly on the bump stops

I've had them on my F32 for years and they hit the bump stops maybe twice

haven't scrapped anywhere yet....that is far from "dumped"

It looks lower than it really is....probably sits higher than most of the BMW's around here

It is a bees dick lower than a GT4

had no issues with the parking garage ramps last night

I think it looks fantastic, but as OCD as I am I'd probably have to lower the front just a bit (from the pix), and I'd do that with front negative camber.

Haven't seen it from the side to see if it needs spacers or not.

The wheels are elegant, like the car, but too casual for me. If it were mine I'd be trying to figure out how to get some GT3RS reps because I love that fan look.

Looks fantastic as-is though, really great color as well.

If it had 18 or 19 inch wheels, it wouldn't look so low.

You need spacers asap

yeah without the spacers it looks lower...
I have some sitting in my garage...waiting to one bolt

Thanks, yeah It looked better with the spacers, not quite as low and nicely filled out....unfortunately one of the bolts was 3mm too long so I had to take them off for now...should have them back on soon....The back apex of the wheel well arch is actually about 3/4" higher than the front

sometimes its just the angle of the photo...
here is a different angle

It looks like the front wheel would rub the fender with the spacers on.

Will def look better with spacers, hopefully you wont get any rubbing.

For reference, here is mine lowered on Eibach springs and 7mm spacers which are a little more conservative.

That’s about double of what the GTS suspension drop is which is 20mm over stock suspension. Not saying you did the wrong thing, just offering for comparison. I think it looks nice. What I appreciate about my GTS is while it’s not slammed, it doesn’t break my back and inspires confidence in turns.
