Found this wolf spider in my garage the other day.

I back up to open space, wilderness. We have a feeling of freedom but it comes at a price.

Suffice it to say, after the scorpion we firebombed our entire property and everything with in a 1/4 mile.

I found a Brown Widow spider in my garage. Scared the shit out of me because I thought it was a a black widow but TBH I didn't feel much better when I realized it was brown.

It grosses me out for some reason. They seem to be attracted to light. During summer I always shut off all the lights before opening the door to the outside.

Who's that? Can't see them, they only get caught in these traps I set and they are usually very small. I noticed attic traps have them mostly. House is bug free.

Have never had to deal with them specifically but would expect boric acid to work. Do you store stuff in the attic? If so check to see if they are getting into what is getting stored.

If you guys don’t like things like spiders and roaches in your house, a good solution is to buy a small army of mantids. As you can see, they are eager to work for you and great at taking photos

They like moisture and eat paper.

I keep finding them and have not found anything other than mention of boric acid. They drive me crazy. If you find anything please let me know!

As for Japanese beetles. I never had them. Lawn is fine. This year they invaded my cherry trees. I broke down and bought the beetle traps. I collected 8 overfilled bags of them!

The ones I have seen always look like this not the brown/red one posted? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_beetle

Found this fellow when taking the cover off of the car after a few weeks away.

Sadly, (S)he didn't survive the encounter...
