Got my fiance a new car
So we went out this past Friday and test drove a few cars. We started with a fully loaded G35. She liked it alot, but i told her we needed to test drive a few more cars. Next, we went to a Charger R/T which she liked, but she wanted a sports cars feel. So we went to a ford dealership to test drive one of the new V6 mustangs, but they didn't have any. Next up was the Camaro. I didn't really want her in a car with 400 horses, so we test drove a V6 and she loved it. Naturally i was ok with that, so that's what we ended up with. Signed the papers yesterday. Specs: Synergy Green 312 HP 3.2 V6, 278 ft. lbs of torque, 19" brushed aluminum wheels, and convience package. Now that we finally bought her a car it's time for both of us to start modding. First thing is 19's for mine and a powdercoat for her wheels. Heres a few quick shots that i got last night and this morning. Sorry about the crappy quality, caught them with my Iphone.

cool?
Whenever I see cars on the road that color, I always wonder WTF people were thinking when they bought them. As long as she likes it.

You'll always be able to keep track of where she is, that's for sure. Is the reason that you "didn't want her in a car with 400 horses" so you'll be able to catch up to her if you find her somewhere she shouldn't be?
Seriously though, I like her new ride. Good luck with it!

As a child of the '60's when MOPAR had those outrageous colors, I've really like the wild colors on the new Camaro's. When my wife and I drive past the local Chevy dealer, I always comment on the cool green. She thinks I'm nuts, but I would love to have a car that color (not a BMW!).

nah, we went with just the base 1LS package. I didn't feel like the guages on the inside and the halo's were worth an extra $4000. She likes not havin the extra guages anyways because it gives her more storage in their place.

yeah, she loved how refined the G was, but she wanted something american and felt like she would betraying me if she got the infiniti and parked it next to my BMW. ha. I think a major deal maker was the color of the camaro, and the horses it's pushin out. The car is FAST..not quick like my 3er, but def fast. I think she made the right choice with the C5 over the G

It's pronounced Uni-Quay, be sure to spell correctly and use caps when you say someone's name.

Personally... I would have got the G... no questions asked!
But it isn't my car. I am sure she is loving life ripping up the streets in her brand new Camaro! Congrats and have fun!
