Potential disruptions to the Monaco GP due to ongoing labour dispute in France. The power workers have threaten to cut power to anywhere Macron visits, and he is due at the GP this weekend.

Interesting how things will fan out at Monaco, it's an independent and sovereign country so may not be affected by the CGU actions.

At the Spa track and in the Francorchamps valley the weather can change 3-4 times in one day .
In other words : The 4 seasons in one day .

Main power in Monaco comes from France. There are several small emergency generators, but nowhere near sufficient to run an entire city at full load.

The race and associated events don't use a whole lot of power. But it's a busy week. It's practically peak load. If the main power is down, the organisers will have to turn down loads of folk and force the cancellation of many events.

Not at all. But I understand the probability of weather prediction. It's actually relatively simple. It's a pity weather reports still get picked on. And they said the internet would make us smarter. Go figure.

Well ,It's no longer a rumor : LEW got a Ferrari contract 'offer of 40 Million pounds /46 Million Euro's/ $50 Million.

If you were in construction, you'd be singing a whole different tune.

It's not 40% chance that it will rain, it means 40% of the area will ~100% see rain. Which 40% is unpredictable and every meteorologist uses their own simulation to project the paths.

The US National Weather Service is actually the most accurate of them all but it's more hard data and less prediction.

Not at all. Not even close.

I am in the wind and solar business, which are 100% dependable on weather forecast. If you know the science and how to read the information, it’s incredibly reliable. Hour ahead, day ahead, even 10 days ahead.
