I think RB is generating so much more downforce with their floor that they don't need to run that much wing.
Maybe they're even managing (reduced) engine power to extend the engine's life. That was another thing that stood out last year, longevity of the engine.

Sure . As I said :The RB19 floor is genius and the Venturi tunnels into the floor are even more genius and invisble for the eye .

The special RB19 DRS wing ?
Is another brilliant invention , because it works only with the complete aero package from how the RB19 is build .
Less drag and a higher topspeed is guaranteed...

That means : Both can't be copied by other teams and that's the good news !

Wolff fired people responsible for the Mercedes W14 wind tunnel tests !

1- Wrong calculations have been made with the W14 scale models.
2- Windtunnel testing has been done for the zero-pod design only.
3- A W14 with side-pods can't be made because the chassis is a specific zero side-pod design .
4- Mercedes can't change the W14 chassis in this season anymore .
5- The Mercedes chassis can only be changed in 2024 .
6- By these new discovered issues, Mercedes can't copy (copycat) the Red Bull RB19 with sidepods .

Don't know if already a topic here: From this weekend on, FIA strictly forbids, under the threat of severe punishment, crew members to climb the fences or pit walls for cheering to their drivers at the last seconds of their race.
Enthusiasm is suspicious. Proposal: In the future each team member is entitled to appear in a tuxedo or at least a dark colored jacket with a decent tie. A speed limit of 50 mph may round off the whole.

FP2 saw it raining proper and Alonso took the quickest time with Charlie then Max following up.
Charlie has said he's not expecting to win here putting on a brave face while waiting for more upgrades and Sainz has added there is a 'concept problem' with the car so is Fred going to say it will get worse before it gets better, time he started talking some more sense with the largest fan following watching the team on the slide.
