Actually the patch is already out

Apple just released APPLE-SA-2009-07-31-1. iPhone OS 3.0.1 fixes the problem.

You need an itunes account.

And in theory other phones have the vulnerability also

Actually guys this exploit affect all the smart phone including blackbarries phones running MS Mobile and Android. Notice as soon as Apple was made aware of this they had a fix out, Have you seen any for Blackberry or MS mobile.

Actually, they were made aware of it over a month ago. It was not until it went public that they released the fix.
