OEM aux install

So I just bought an OEM aux input retrofit kit for my 2005 525i. The cable is connected to a harness already, and from what I'm getting at from the instructions, I need to remove the wires from that harness and plug them in to the harness on the back of my car's CCC unit, am I correct?

correct. you'll need to remove the CCC unit, and plug that harness into the larger connector that plugs into the back of the CCC drive.

last but not least, you'll need to code your CCC drive to recognize that it has an AUX input.

there are instructions all over the internet, get the OEM ones..they'll walk you right through it step by step, other than the coding part.
