Can anyone assist please I think when I purchased the car they washed it and did that. Water and microfiber isn’t working and I’m not sure if that leather and or what leather cleaner to use any idea? Thanks guys.

diluted P&S xpress cleaner/MF towel. if it doesn't come out, try undiluted, but it's pretty strong.

I'm assuming you've tried water only? It's always best to start there. Many products add oils to improve looks only to leech the original oils out of the plastic, forcing you to use the product over and over again.

I wonder about a glass cleaner? They can cut through a few things but aren't likely powerful enough to harm anything.
I was trying to think of what it might be and how it got there. Some sort of splatter from a spray interior cleaner, like the old fashioned Armor All, with a bunch of whatever is in there, silicone maybe? |

P&S interior and a small upholstery brush. Use a microfiber dipped in warm water to rinse and help release the stain. My guess is whatever window cleaner they used created the stains or some type of air freshener they may have used… careless.

I had an M850i which had a big spot on the passenger top-side of the dash, similar to what yours looked like. Except when trying to clean it, black dye was coming off in the cloth. It was deemed a defect and replaced under warranty.

Thank you looks like someone else had the same idea about a little bit of dawn dish soap anyone know if it can make it worse? Like create a bigger spot after dawn?

Dawn dish soap is a powerful degreaser and would be a good aggressive step.
You could also try water and a magic eraser (yes, the Mr Clean product designed for walls 😎. This is a great method to clean dirty leather. From the looks of the picture, I don’t think the magic eraser is the way to go, but if nothing else works light pressure with a magic eraser won’t hurt anything. You could always try a leather shoe cleaner, this will be more aggressive, but could lift the stain. Best of luck. |

It's been a month, not sure OP is coming back to answer or follow up. I'd be interested to know if it got fixed and if so how.

I don’t understand why people suggest these, honestly. And Dawn? magic Eraser? Come on guys, these are for dishes and walls. Buy dedicated interior or leather cleaner if that’s leather (hard to tell). Leatherique, Leather Masters or Colourlock. Buy the appropriate products for the job and don’t ruin your car. I haven’t gotten the spots out i was hesitant to use anything even dawn soap or any leather cleaners I was kind of afraid of making it worse so I kind of just left it alone

Use Leatherique cleaner conditioner, you could start with the Rejuvinator and follow up with the cleaner or just the cleaner. No oils in either. Purposely made for cleaning leather. Read the reviews. Have been using it for years and restoration projects.
