another newbie with a problem!

hi sorry im sure you have all been through this a 100 times but i need some inside knowledge,
i have never owned a bmw or a oil burner but i am 15 hours away from putting a deposit down on one
i have run a number of 270-320bhp petrol cars from a audi s3 to scoobys but now want a bm, i have been offered both 330d and 335d msports both on 07 plates and both with the right spec, i am right at the top of my budget and the 335d works out at about £35 quid a month more than the 330d, how many miles per gallon can i expect from either with 70% town driving and the rest on open a roads? will the 335d be worth more in two years time? i only do 10k per year but the sort of cars iv been running last few years have been returning 17mpg and now cost £400 a year in tax and have been eatin super jiuce at the same price of stan diesel.
will i think im missing something in a 330 over the 335? will a dms tuned 330 go as well as a stan 335? sorry boys and girls but im car- less and im paying my deposit tomorrow on one of then (the wife wants the cheper one but iv got that gut feeling i need the bigger one) many thanks and sorry again

335d is the way to go. Even in my petrol 335i driven extremely violently I ave averaged 18.2 MPG.
