Well, from some of your posts you appear to be pretty active so you must be doing something right.

I feel really lucky to be able to stay really active. I just turned 73 a couple of weeks ago and I am in really good shape "for my age".

I'd like to lose a few pounds but who wouldn't?

My main exercise is hiking. I've been a backpacker and hiker for all of my adult life and I think it makes a huge difference for me. I'm in a couple of hiking groups and and also I have a couple of buddies that like to hike. I live in East Bay (Contra Costa County) and we have a lifetime supply of trails, hills, ridges, peaks, and even a good-sized mountain (Mt. Diablo).

What's the most fun for me is hiking with my son or my son-in-law, both of whom are avid backpackers. I can still hang with them. When my dad was my age, he had trouble crossing a room.

I will stay at it as long as I can. I use knee braces (for prevention) and hiking poles. I think they make me invincible.

Did you see the couple that's been renting U HAUL pickups for $19.95 and taking them to drive-ins?
They load the bed up with air mattress and blankets, etc

They have a large following now, and U HAUL is making lots of $$$

Never did it myself but I've heard people say it's pretty easy getting used to driving on the other side, as well as the shifter and clutch on the other side and of course the other side of the road.
