Meh, it's a cockroach... they don't bite. Daily sighting here in NOLA. Can't sit on my porch and enjoy a cigar without seeing them.

Don't go to Florida. Those Palmetto bugs are like giant flying cockroaches. YUK!

I'm in a suburb of Atlanta..
I've walked along each wall and sealed every hole.
Stops under sinks. Plugged
If it looks like a bug could get through, I sealed it.
Even removed the moulding and caulked the drywall to the floor.
All weather stripping changed and checked with a 1000 lumens flashlight
All wall receptacles, including ceiling light fixtures and ceiling fans.
Even behind fridge and stove..

This was 6mos ago.

Get up this morning….

Half dead palmetto bug….

Even the fire ants said duck it and can't get in anymore
I can leave a cupcake at each entry door for days…. And .. nothing…

But palmetto bugs…..?

Little Johnny was playing in the backyard when some honeybees started annoying him. He tried to stomp on them, but his father reprimanded him, saying, “Stop that, John! Now you’ll get no honey for a month!”

Later, Little Johnny caught some butterflies and started torturing them. His father yelled, “Stop that, John! Now you’ll get no butter for a month!”

That evening, as Little Johnny’s mother prepared dinner, a cockroach scurried across the kitchen floor. She stomped it dead. Little Johnny looked at his father and asked, “You gonna tell her or should I?”
