Lots of them think there's money in it. Post a funny video, get people to watch it, get a cheque from YouTube. Or have an IG account where companies will want to advertise on.

They are lazy, and don't want to get a real job. They'd rather do dumb or shocking things in order to get likes or clicks, and get paid that way.

I wish YouTube and IG would simply do away with "likes" or "views". Would be a much better social media world, with a lot less anxiety for many.

It's thanks to reality shows.. Shit like the Kardashians and Jersey Shore created a warped sense or realty for these kids. They think they can all be rich and famous by doing some dumb shit. Youtube a documentary called "Hot Girl Wanted", it's about young 18 year old girls getting into porn. The primary reason why they do it is "because I wanted to be famous and rich like Kim K."
