VW Beetle power spoiler?
I was cruising along behind a newer model VW Beetle, when I could have sworn the rear window spoiler moved. I didn't realize that was powered like the Crysler Crossfire and Porsche 911, Boxsters, etc. were.
Did a little research on the web, and though it was very difficult to find info on it, I discovered this is an option for the Turbo-S version? Apparently it goes up at 40-45 mph, and goes back down automatically below 10 mph. Quote:

I noticed this as well while driving behind a beetle turbo. Although, the spoiler didnt look like the second picture. The second picture posted looks like the spoiler tilted up while the one i saw had the whole spoiler extend and move up not just tilt.

Yeah, the one I saw just tilted. Surprised me because I have seen these on Beetles and always thought this was some fixed aftermarket add-on attached to the rear window somehow. So when it moved, I thought my eyes were playing tricks with me or perhaps the wind had pushed it down.
