The exterior is uglier than doo-doo but that interior is SWEET!

This is the car that I sacraficed to get the E90. Aaaarrrrgghhhh! So far....I love my 330i! The only reason why I got the E90 over the IS350 is because I couldn't wait til' October!

Give us the 335i ! Or at least a ZHP with the upgraded N52 and a zippier final drive ratio that can match the acceleration of the IS350 and close the gap with the Audi S4.

for the big fat-assed premium that BMW is going to slap on any kind of car even remotely close to the supposed "335". |

Looks like IS falls short again of really competing with the 3 series. Why would anyone wanna pick a car described as "uninspiring" over the inspiring e90

I have said this time and time again that there is no other car that can compare to a BMW in terms of "feeling connected" with the road. I have driven everything out there and currently have a C32 AMG Benz that is gone in a couple of days when I pick up my 330i. The handling of the BMW just can not be matched in any other car. With the BMW you can predict what will happen where as these other cars leave you hanging. It is a matter of choice as one person might like something better than the next person. I am fair and will always take people to look at the different cars out there and test drive them and then leave the BMW to last to drive. After the test drive they understand what I mean about "feeling connected with the road" in the handling and ride of the BMW and you can not find that in anything else.

Edmunds IS350 Full Test
throughout the former parts of the article the writer just compares it to a bmw and tells how it doesnt stack up, even if the numbers look better. lexus' claimed 5.6 sec 0-60 time could not be achieved by the drivers at edmunds, they couldnt even get anything under 6... well, u can read for urself, but all i can say is... glad i didnt hold out for one

Why would you sell a superior car for an inferior one Well unless your willing to trade in "performance+luxury" for just a little bit more of interior "luxury" |

At first glance I thought it was a Mazda, but now I think you're right it's a "Hun-day"

its funny to read that in the US the lexus is named in one sentence with bmw. dont get me wrong i do believe that this is a real good car. maybe in term of realibility or what you get from your money etc. better. i don't know.
but for me and a lot of other people in europe you are comparing aples with ..whatever......BMW does have a complete different focus...that some do not like. bmw likes ro be the leader in future design/looks/technice what ever and as we all know 'freude am fahren'....if someone is looking in a car with these specs how can the lexus be in the same line ? i do not get that. for me again and a lot of peolple from europe the lexus is nothing more than a toyota plus. a good car...but nothing that makes you cry to get into your car in the middle of the night and driving 50miles for nothing :-) if you can afford drive bmw..if not get another car. i have to say....it was a bit stereotyping..there are of course people buying these cars because they really like them but compared to the us this is a complete different picture. for me a lexus could never be a choice. ok...yes...when iam 60. |

For me, Lexus is about Luxury and Reliability. BMW is about performance and handling which Lexus will never be able to touch. How could you possibly buy the IS350 after driving a 330i. Mind boggling

add to my previous post. Since the overwhelming majority of the 3-ers sold in the US are Steptronic, the IS350 will give BMW a run for the money. Probably not so much in Europe, but what do I know.
