You're likely the only person who isn't huffing paint - you're going to argue that Perez is better than Hamilton? We are talking about a guy who was a DNF away from winning a WDC in his rookie season - who won it all in season two of his career and has won 7 WDC in his career.

Ya'll better pray that Hamilton never becomes competitive again, I would hate (love) to see the meltdowns and excuses if Max returns to being irrelevant.

Winning the 2023 slowest Merc driver award...yes.
I think we can all admit, Norris is the best driver on the grid. Put him in a Merc or RB and let him cook. |

Max is only through 8 seasons (and has only has a competitive car for 2 of the 8), and this being his 9th. Through 8 seasons, his stats are better than Hams (who had a competitive car for 5 of those 8). Both won 2 through this period but Max has more wins, more FLs, and more podiums. Through 9 seasons it's going to be a bit more lopsided to Max in wins/podiums/FL. He has also set records Ham never had the skill to but had a car that should have done so with ease. He who spews nonsense that the likes of Hamilton, Vettel and Verstappen don’t have skills and that’s all the car, obviously never stepped onto a track’s tarmac.
In Formula 1, they’re all very good drivers. Even Maldonado. Hamilton, Vettel and Verstappen are brutally excellent drivers. |

There are always some drivers that stand out from the rest. You can have the best car on the grid, but if your skills aren't up to par, it won't save you. Perez has the best car on the grid, and he's barely P2. Out of 15 races this season, pèrez has finished P2 4 times. Thats absolutely ridiculous considering he's in the best car on the grid. That absolutely defeats the "it's the car" for Max. You should be minimum P2 in that car every race at least. Also AmuroRay, stop making everything about race, I under you love Hamilton and he hasn't won a race for almost 3 years, but it's not about race, it's about how when everyone was started over in 2022, Mercedes showed their true colors when they didn't have any advantage like they did when the hybrid era happened. Last year Ferrari had the better car until the TD hit and RB ran away with the championship. Hell, the races were all close as well. |

i think Horner wasn't lying when he said Singapore performance was 100% tire operating window and nothing to do with the technical directive TD018 nerf.
also during the race Max was very quick on the Mediums. now we know. |

Keep in mind, in Hamilton's rookie season, he was 22. Verstappen was 17. There's a lot of growth and maturity happening in those 5 years. They both won their first world championship at about age 24.... Alonso and Vettel were 23/24 as well. Max has a long career left ahead of him. |
