Nobody else is complaining, in fact some teams are saying the opposite which is not hard to understand why. Was it a bit duller, sure but it was ended in the same way countless other races have within F1 over decades and decades. Change the rules if you don’t want it ending it this way but unless they are then this is how it should end.

To be clear, I think it's fine it ended the way it did, albeit, not in the most exciting way, but certainly the safest and in accordance with SOPs/rules.

On a much different note, the local Ferrari dealer had an open house to watch the race. Was a ton of fun. Was really surprised they had a SF90 Stradale on the show floor. Got a kick out of the sticker advertised seven years free maintenance on an 820k car.

You can guess if the crowd was happy or not the way the race ended.

That Italian thing won't last 7 years , the batteries will be *EOL (end of life-time) within 3-4 years.

I’ve never really been a Ferrari guy except for the V12 GTC4 Lusso. I did like this Roma a lot though!

, FWIW I’m not a big Lamborghini guy either. Guess if I ever could afford one I’d have no idea where I’d drive the thing. Or where I’d feel comfortable parking it/leaving it out of my sight. I don’t have f u money like most Ferrari owners.

Also, I never liked the BS Ferrari makes you do to own the one you want and conditions on what you can and can’t do with them. Weird company.

Edit: Oddly I’ve always liked the race team and do root for both SAI and LEC.

Good and interesting analysis of the reality of what was done and how the rules as they stand today were followed at the Italian GP.

How F1 Rules Ignored in Abu Dhabi meant no Italian GP Restart

Can't wait if they do change the rules, that the cars at the sharp end take each other out, the 3 and 4th driver does the same and its the 5th driver that wins. It then turns out that driver 3 and 4 and in hospital and will miss a couple of races. Then it will by cries of they should have left the rules as they are they didn't need to be change etc. etc.

But hey we need to keep the Netflix and chill generation happy with instant gratification don't we...

What could be argued against suspending the clock for the rounds as well as for the time left during SC and VSC?
The fuel consumption might not be critical in that cruise mode, only the teams would have to be not so risky in fueling. If though, wrong strategy! *peeratferrari*

Running cost for most Ferrari is about $8USD a mile. Not insignificant. But nobody buys a Ferrari with running costs in mind.

So, what records do you guys think Max will break this season?

I'm not confident that he'll beat or match Seb's 9 consecutive wins. If he wins in Singapore then I'll be much more confident in this one.

I think the highest likeliness is that he breaks Schumacher's/Seb's 13 wins. He only needs 3 more for this so he may break it by more than 1 race. There's 6 races left and I think we may see a 15 or 16 win season here.

Total wins for the season should definitely be attainable. Consecutive wins still a hard ask mainly due to how much good luck is needed on top of track performance to pull that off. They have the right mix of driver and car to make it happen and also reliability at this point - I put it at 50/50 right now. Now that they have dialed out the understeer in RB18 and given Max the exact setup he wants I believe he should have the fastest race pace at all tracks moving forward - even Singapore. Just still need so much good luck to fall your way to pull off a streak like that.
