2010 550i P0128 help needed
Changed out my water pump, thermostat housing, and thermostat over the weekend. After completing the work, the car seemed to come up to temperature correctly with no leaks, but after I drove it for about 15 minutes or so, I got a check engine light, and my scanner says the code is P0128, coolant temperature below threshold. Wasn't getting this code prior to swapping out the parts. Used the hidden menu from the dash to read the coolant temp, and it's saying the coolant is 92C after driving, which appears to be correct, and I would assume that this indicates that the coolant temperature sensor that I transferred over from the old thermostat housing is working correctly.
Any thoughts on what could be causing that code? |
