I've been on six of the seven continents and by far my favorite one ends in an A.

How about not ever living in the middle class? I vote for that option.

Maybe there should also be a poll about where in the world you would want to live if you were transplanted to there and into the upper class. Likewise, a poll for where you would want to be if in the under class. For that one there might not be many responses. In this thread, I guess I was fishing for more discussion about why it would be great to live in various places and be in that culture. Living it. Loving it. Being it. Perhaps part of that discussion would be about starting in the middle class, and what could you do from there. Whether that is good enough, whether you could advance into a better class, or what? I don't know. Also, geography, weather, activities, worklife. You name it. What makes a great life in other places? I could try to imagine being in a witness protection program where you get setup in another place of your choice, but as a middle-class person/family to blend in. |

I don't know the actual lifestyle of the penguins but it must be pretty good since they're always dressed in their tuxes.

The good ol USA!
Even if you're middle class, upper class or very rich you still need some type of military protection and your basic human rights. I'll just visit those other places for fun from time to time. IMO

The best part about Tahiti, besides the fact that they are the most beautiful tropical islands I've ever seen, is that there are no Jamaican's there. In Jamaica I had some guy follow my wife, daughter and I for almost a mile trying to get us to buy a $2 doll that he saw my daughter look at. I would have bought it just to get rid of him, but he didn't bring it with him, so we would have had to walk the whole way back to get it. We didn't feel pressure to buy anything during the 10 days we were in Tahiti. So much better than anywhere in the Carribean I've been. Truly a tropical paradise. |

Austria would be awesome. Mountainous roads, beautiful scenery, and Vienna knows good coffee. I'd be quite smitten.

I VOTE FOR TRINIDAD & TOBAGO! the cost of living is insanely low here! i live like a king for 2,500 US a month. but thats because my house and car is paid off already.actually, i could live here for 1400 a month like a king, but car insureance, health insureance, house insureance adds up. and so does the eating out almost every day. lol but ive got a house on the beach, my garage is INSIDE of the house,if u understand what im saying. like i walk out of my room, and across from me is a perfect, sexy, tempting Alpine white 320i E90. and my house is DIRT cheap. and yet looks amazing. it cost me (my dad) bought it @ 100K. the local food here is excellent, mostly indian, but alot of food is a fusion of spanish/arab, etc. because trinidad has.... i would say the most ethnical variety in such a small country. we have people from every single country here in large numbers. Trinidad is a tropical paradise! even the homeless are kind! they dont even harass you. and what i love is i can get a sack of a bunch of exotic fruits here for 1 US dollar. lol! lovely place trinidad is. i would not live anywhere else in the world. america is too fast paced. here, you can enjoy every single moment. IM A SOCA WARRIOR! hahaha we tried at FIFA. Only carribean country to make it in the World Cup, gj guys!
