Cool video.
Is there any car in history that has more NACA ducts that the F40?

Was never really a fan but as top end cars get more digital, stupidly powerful and complicated, the F40 seems like a cranky dinosaur.
For much the same reason a 997 Porsche is starting to appeal. |

What a vehicle!...and a super owner commentary. One of Petrolicious' best.

After watching this F40 vid, I immediately had to watch Chris Harris' F40 vs F50 vid. Just hilarious how he loses his mind while driving the F40.

For sure, but the XJR 15 is insanely rare! I'd love to see a video on that car, first car ever made completely out of carbon fiber!

Was smitten with the F40 as soon as it hit the autoshow circuit. It turned into a love affair as the test results started showing up and stunning everyone. By today's standards it's really nothing special performance wise but in the day it was hellacious. Only the 959 could run with it and for me the Porsche just didn't have that thing that made my heart sing. The song of the F-car V8 being force fed at full tilt was and still is a musical symphony. Its ond of my top three dream cars.

Agreed! It doesn't hurt that the car is utterly spectacular, but the history of the car and the story about the mother is genuine and touching. No need for awkward role-playing b-roll here, just straight driving and archive photos.

^ Impressive.
It's look and engine bark is very much like a McLaren F1... I wonder if this guy has one of those as well.

Wonderful video, and nice to see the owner shares his passion with his children. I'm not a Ferrari fan, but the F40 is an exception.
