I love Bimmerpost.
I am the new owner of an X3 XDrive 30i and came here to learn more about the BMW experience and the car. I find lots of useful information on maintaining the automobile inside and out, best soaps, foam cannons, and repair tips. I see posts about common issues, how to fix them or prevent them from happening in the first place. I learn where to take the automobile for service based on the issue, either a dealer or third party specialist. And the pictures of the members’ cars in all those fantastic BMW colors all detailed out- forget about it. Beautiful.
What I find hard to comprehend is the plethora of TLA (three letter acronyms) that are used and that I have to look up - part of the learning curve I know. Also in abundance are the BMW specific words and products that are foreign to me. I site a post below to show as an example:

I am running Michelin 245/265 RF -staggered of course with the no spare cover and the M4 sport tuned package tray in the rear. Upgraded the turbos, added a CAI and oil catch can with the M40i shadow line Laser mirrored beams and truespec live camera version 4.0. My question is, what kind of gas should I be using or should I just look at getting a M40i in Phytonic blue?”
