E60 classifieds?
Maybe I'm missing it, but is there an E60-specific (or even 5-series specific) Classifieds board? If not here, do you all recommend where to look? I've been looking on Autotrader for an E60, preferably a 2010 535 m-sport package.
thanks! Ben |

You best bet is probably autotrader or cars.com. When looking for something that specific, you just have to be patient and keep looking in as many places as you can, check all your local dealers, not just bmw and all the indy's. Talk to some dealers and sometimes they can find you one. If you have a carmax or something like it in your area, they have thousands of used cars all over and if it's not in your area they can ship it to you, sometimes there is a fee.

I'm looking at selling my 2010 535i M-sport Auto w/paddle shifters. Alpine white, Comfort access, black interior, Bluetooth calling and audio, GPS, both keys, Premium audio (it's the base system for the US) and window tint 30% all around (I think that's how it's rated...blocks 30% of light coming in)
119k miles with the following items replaced/ service completed within the last three years of owning: Water pump Thermostat Oil filter/cooler gasket Valve cover gasket Oil pan gasket Transmission mechatronic service kit - New pan, filter, gasket, mechatronic sleeve and servo sleeves Polyurethane bushings on front suspension Spark plugs changed twice Replaced one coil due to failure Pulleys Serpentine belt Magnaflow muffler and rear cat delete New Michelin PS4 all seasons within 1-2k miles HPFP Coolant tank Transmission belly pan - it was sagging and looked crappy Bumper adapter strip - fixed sagging bumper Polished headlights Cooling fan Front and rear glass seals Gas cap Front and rear brake rotors, pads and pad sensors Driver's side motor mount windshield washer pump Heater control valve Walnut blasted valves Updated GPS maps in 2018 Oil changes completed at about 50% with either Mobil1 Exteded Life or Motul Problems: Previous owner ran over parking curb so many times that she broke a tab on each side of the bumper and the adapter bar, but I replaced the adapter bar. Wife clipped the bumper with the suv and broke the fog light and scratched the bumper. Replaced the fog light. Left headlight high beam just fell apart yesterday. Looking into fixing that problem now. Low pressure sensor. I've been told by my mechanic it's unnecessary to fix. It's only an $80ish part if memory serves me correctly. Planning on a brake flush in the next week or two since I just did the front brakes yesterday. Basically, if it's an issue with our car I've fixed it Looking for $6,500 OBO I'll post pics if you're interested I also have BMS JB4 Gen4 w/data cable, Dual cone intake and Forge diverter valves for it for $500 more |

I presume you know about these cars given you are posting here. I have enjoyed it but my wife hates it, the only reason I'm selling. Also, have an V10 M6, so some redundancy. Anyway, did the front control arms, rod bearings, SMG pump, engine mounts, vanos line, diff fluids and other small stuff etc all caught up. brakes and rotors are fresh M slotted and drilled at about 98k miles, tires are 60-70% tread left. The cabin has some minor cosmetic wear on the wheel and driver door interior leather. The rest of the car could pass for new. The rear right window regulator is locked up. It's a relatively quick deal to fix, but I've never bothered since I've never had anyone in the back or wanted the open the back windows. Lastly the CD player doesn't change tracks. I use aux anyway so I haven't bothered with it. There are videos of a fix m, but I really doubt anyone is using CDs these days. 14.5k is market price so for anyone on here I'd happily Pass it on to a BMW enthusiast who knows how to care and appreciate it, but I do consider mine a good example given the two big head aches are already fixed for the next owner. (And you know it wasn't cheap ). Paper work is of course all here. Can meet buyer at local airport or we can arrange a flat bed. |
