After buying a few M cars; I got so excited to see this fancy invitation arrive in my mailbox before just in time for Christmas.

I spent heart wrenching moments in believing it was an invitation to a complementary driving school session...or something !

At least we got a blue tooth speaker as a thank you gift from Acura for buying my wife's RDX. The gift was about a year or two after purchase.

$115k for a nicely loaded 911 Carrera S that has basically the same performance as an M4 made me say:

"F Porsche...I'm buying an M car"

I've noticed that even BMW is that way, just not as bad as it used to be. I built a 340i before getting my F80, and was surprised at how expensive you could actually get that car to be, for even standard creature comforts.

Last time i wanted to buy one, it was gonna be close to $25k in options , couldn't get 5-8% off msrp and then the sales guy kept correcting me on how to pronounce "Porshah".
That's when i decided i didn't want deal with them assholes.

LOL, I can imagine that. Which is why I'll be opting for one of the track oriented variants in the future, versus a pedestrian model. No need for the extra bullshit.

Well the gt3's msrp is $169k, the gt3 rs over $200k.

My favorite the 911R is at least $189k, some have been trying to sell it for ove $700k.
