I like Bumbu rum. Very tasty over ice. Dangerously so.

Bourbon man myself. Also dangerously so. As in, if I want to stop drinking it I just don't keep it in the house, because if it was in the house I would drink it.

Same here. I usually have a bottle (Irish Whiskey) for the weekend and that's it. If I have multiple bottles hanging around, I drink every night. Not to excess or anything, but one or two. But if I don't have anything around, it's no big deal.

So as I have said before I'm a youngish retired guy, my wife is going to retire at the end of the year and has been taking a bunch of wine tasting courses and we are taking our WSET Spirits course now, I'm thinking I might get a part time gig at the Wayne Gretzky Distillery which is about a 5 min drive from my place, just to keep me out of trouble....my wife wants to work at a winery part time when she retires, there are 200 of them within a half an hour of our place.....what could possibly go wrong?

You cannot do a stressful workout day after day, you need to take recovery time or you’re breaking down muscle tissue. BTW, I suggest taking a day off and two servings of this...

Love me some Diplomatico. Plantation XO as well. Bumbu is right up there with those two.

I've had K&S. Haven't tried the Pyrat. I'll look for it. Rum is more of a summer drink for me, though.

Pyrat was the stuff they were serving on the one and only cruise I've ever been on. I thought it was a ship brand. Shows what I know.

You have a twin! I know a guy from another BMW forum that is the spitting image of younger you. Pretty freaky.

I have heard this before, from a number of friends (30 years ago) who said theres a guy who is my twin. I never did meet that guy.....it is kind of freaky to hear you have a double. We probably all do though. You forget to mention how good looking my twin was though.

My bad. Yes you are a hottie . I think it's pretty scary that there might be another me running around somewhere.

EDIT: After seeing your two pics over the years I was thinking about making a then and now thread with pics but figured most here like being anonymous. Dare we cross that line? And no, I'm not going first.

I wasn't fishing actually, but thanks for the compliment. It seems like I already have put up a then and now pic.

It's funny, my friend in the pic sent those to me out of the blue the other night. It kind of rattled me a bit, given this thread and the subject matter I had to look at it a few times to get my head around that it was 27 years ago.....where did the time go? So I've done it, you're up.

I'm not up yet. I need some peer pressure that all the cool kids are doing it first.

The dreaded peer pressure......I'm sure some of the other "old farts" are willing to exert some.

Just turned 43 a few months ago. Best shape of my life but still plenty of work to do on myself. I notice a little more each day that my patience for stupid shit is non-existent, my self awareness (and noticing other people) makes me more and more withdrawn (or just selective about what I discuss and who I discuss it with). Both of the aforementioned I have noticed, makes other people uncomfortable. I have also noticed that my well worded quips, regarding other peoples actions, seem less asshole-y to those receiving but the point comes across loud and clear. Less cussing and less emotion, but clear, concise verbal bitch slaps get delivered almost daily.

On a physical stance, my hair on top is so thin it's almost doesn't exist so I've accepted my fate and keep that shit shaved. Eye sight went to shit so now I'm rocking bi-focals. I haven't hit the elastic waistband stage yet so there is still hope.....for now.
