The N52 is a very good engine, but there really are not any performance boosts for it that are worth the money. That's why BMW offers the 535, the 540 and the 550. Save your cash.

The 3 stage intake manifold for the N52 off of the 330i/530i is a good HP bolt on. Its plug and play and would make your car 255hp and 221 tq (~25hp and 21tq).
There are some other good tuning options for the engine on top; like an aftermarket tune (10-15hp) MILVs (10hp w/ a tune for Milvs), secondary cat delete (5hp), headers (~20hp). There is also other options like the euro IAT, secondary intake feed and charcoal filter delete (those are undocumented hp gains) Bimmerlabs may have a free re-flashable tune for the 528i; if not send them an email and see if they offer one. |
