E60 M5 engine/coolant temperature sensor gauge not working

hi everyone,

Just want to know if anyone experience after replacing the engine and radiator temperature sensor, the temperature gauge in the instructment cluster is not working. After clearing the fault codes, the gauge work for a very short time and then stop functioning. Appreciate if anyone can guide me through in how to fix the issue.
