Red Sox Tickets
Hello Folks, I did post this in the New England section as well.
I know this OT but I would certainly appreciate some help. As you will see I live half way round the world in Oz. My family and I are coming to Canada and the States in July and August of this year, my son is actually in a marching band is playing at the Calgary Stampede, and then we are heading south. Anyway to the point, I am a long time Red Sox fan and am going to attend the game against Toronto in late July. I need some advice from the locals on where to sit at Fenway. I don't want to travel all the way over there and then not have a good seat. Forget things like Corporate Suites and the like (unless someone has three free tickets ) but I want a good view. I don't want to be in the nose bleed sections either. I know it is somewhat vague but hopefully you get what I mean. Thanks in advance for your help! H |

The only place I don't like to sit is in right field past the Pesky Pole - the seats face towards the Green Monster and you need to look left all game to see the infield. Also, make sure your seats aren't obstructed view, else you may have a pole in your line of sight to the field. The only other thing to look out for is that there are a few dry sections in left field - no alcohol allowed. Other than that I would say there are no bad seats at Fenway, just a matter of how much you want to spend. Go Sox! |

small park so all the seats are good compared to here in LA where our parks are huge. At Fenway I sat behind first base and those were good! From what I remember, I think outfield tickets were even more expensive. Overall awesome experience, I think any seat field level is good.

Thanks again for your responses Guys,
I ended up with tickets in a Loge box right behind third base, cost all up $130AUD per ticket. Can't wait! |

I always sit in the same place, third base side, behind the visitors dugout, 4 rows up (my cousin's season tix). But I've always wanted to sit in the Monster seats.

The green monster! Best and most expensive seats. I might be going to the same game as you, but I'm sitting on the monster! Hope you enjoy it.

I'd sit in the monster seats. since you're not able to go to games frequently I'd make it the best experience possible. Other than that the bleachers have been renovated and there's more space for each seat. Other than that Fenway is Americas oldest ballpark and it does show I'm 6'4" and if I sit anywhere else my knees press hard against the seat in front. Another option is the upper deck but you'd be removed from the crowd and experience
