BMW F90 Seats (Help)

Hello,

I bought my 2019 F90 M5 a month back.

Its got the Argon/macademia interior. But im wondering, It didnt come with the illuminating seat/headrest logo. It didnt come with any logo on the seats at all actually.

Is this an option when you buy it?

Plenty M5's even earlier in 2018 having these emblems though, I find it weird that its an optional extra when its an M car.

Maybe im wrong, its my first M car.

Do you have a pic of it? Seems odd that it wouldnt. I have a comp and it has it. Had a F80 base and it had it. Yours mightve been swapped. A pic would help identify it.

See the attached image, maybe these are the comfort seats.

To be honest I didnt know F90 came in those seats if they did. Unless another member can confirm, I think someone did a seat swap.

Pretty sure those are not factory. Mine look like the ones in the ebay link though mine are black (23 M5C)

I also just saw that the headrests have the "M" logo imprinted.

I dont know if these were the first in this colour or whats going on here. But as far as i can see there haven been any changes to the seat.

Still its quite weird they didnt come with the logo in plastic, and the headrest got them imprined in a subtle form.


Does anyone know if this was an option during the design of the car?

My seats are actually identocal to these, except the colour. As we see here the logo is imprinted in the headrest.

Makes sense, actually got the demo.
Apparently these are the comfort seats yeah, thanks though!

You are correct. I would have KILLED to have those seats in my 2018. I would have been able to install four point harnesses.

THIS is what we got in the U.S.


Did not like. Did not hold my fat ass well in hard turns.

The guides (##4,5) are different, so can be the dimensions. But: even if they fit, they will not only look "mismatching" (all you could afford of the seats of your choice), they won't illuminate (as there's no connection in the seat, apparently).
