I went to the air show today!
and i got these...
and i thought this was too damn cute... the doggie has goggles... these are pretty much right off the damn camera with very little editing at all... and it was the first time i have ever shot anything going 200+ mph... i had a ton of fun doing something different and i wanted to share with y'all because i thought y'all would enjoy them...

I only went for the blue angels cause they are my favorite! It's amazing when they were 200 ft over your head doing close to 300 mph!! Ahhhh! My ribcage is still shaking! It is an amazing experience!

I saw them in San Antonio last year. I cannot wait to go back. Here are a few pix I got...
Since you didn't see the entire show, you probably missed the F22. Here is a shot with its missile chambers open. The F22 is amazing. |

Those are cool pics indeed. I advise anyone who is interested in this stuff to try and make it to the Miramar AirShow held every year at MCAS Miramar in San Diego, CA. It's probably one of the best shows you will ever see.
P.S. The Blue Angels fly much faster than 300mph when they fly directly overhead, the maneuver where they seem to come from out of nowhere...that one is done between 600-700mph

Nice pix! Love the one of the F-22. Its gotta be one of the coolest looking A/C out there, IMO. Its a shame not much because of it. Of all the A/C I've seen flying, the F-35 doesn't do it for me. F-22, B-1, B-2, and, on rare occassion, ABL always get my attention, though.
I still have to say, though, that even though it's older, I still love A-10's. Frickin' beasts for CAS!
