CF Performance Spoiler installed finally!!

Purchased my CF Performance Spoiler from our new e90post vendor/sponsor: autodesignhouse. I just when I got this package today, one word to describe this vendor and the product "Spectacular". Not only is the product 100% and fits like a glove, but also the vendor was very responsive and took care of my product fast. Highly recommended!!

For those that questions the gap on the side, is because I installed it more to the right side.. you can tell the top is a bit thick, because it really is but its not a fitment issue.. after all replica does come from the mold of OEM here's some picture of how it really should've looked like:

Sorry for the bad pics, didn't get the DSLR out. Hope you enjoy!

just curious, how did you install it? 3M tape or betalink? It looks like there's a gap at the corners of the spoiler.

I used 3m tape, and unfortunately I installed the spoiler too close to the right. I will give some shots of the other side today

Looks good. I have the OEM performance spoiler and the only big difference that I notice is that the OEM doesn't have a big gap on the area that it mounts to the top of the trunk.

Compare for yourself:

Photos edited: to clear up my misleading photos cause of my noob-installing skills, installing the spoiler more to the right side of the car rather than the left.. causing the gap you see. The photos added at the bottom, should of been how it looked like! Cheers!

I thought the performance spoiler was supposed to be installed at the top of the trunk not on that slant...?

Whatever fits lol, when i test fit, it fits like a glove 100%. its not exactly like OEM where the top covers the top of the trunk, but no need to worry that it is not steady/ stationary.

I previously had a replica just like the OP, but there were noticeable gaps in mine when I tried installing it with 3M tape, so I went with the OEM spoiler instead. Here are the differences I noticed:

- the edge of the spoiler that meets the surface of the trunk is rounder on the replica, and flatter on the OEM.
- corners of the OEM spoiler are flatter, and therefore, leave no gap under any circumstance. with the replica, it's a gamble.
- you're right about the spoiler resting on the slant. for the replica, more of the spoiler was resting on that slanted surface. for the OEM, almost no part of the spoiler touches it.

these are all minor differences though, and are compensated by the large price difference.

OP, the updated photos look better. actually, the fit of the spoiler in those pictures surprises me! the price difference between OEM and replica is roughly double, so congrats on saving money! if my replica had fit as well as yours, I would've kept it.

No. And if I'm honest, not even close to OEM.
