Gambling!

Always get an itch to gamble now and then. Doesn't help when a few of my mates makes a living off it. Playing poker and going out 5/6 nights a week.

Many people on here into gambling? Whether it be online or at the casino?

I've lost close to 100K gambling over the years, don't get into it...unless you're Vietnamese and you have it in your blood..

Any particular game?

I'll never forget the feeling I had once I realized I lost £3.5K on roulette about 3 years ago when I was 18. The desire to try and win it back is overwhelming. I can see why people get addicted.

Why are Asians so into gambling?

I lived ~2hr drive from the CT casinos for 2 years. I would stop off on my way to/from visiting my brother in NYC. Overall, I probably netted a couple hundred playing Blackjack/Roullette. You win some, you lose some. Just don't lose more than you win. The adrenaline and excitement of trying to win money is what leads to addiction.

+1 haha

it's in my blood for sure... Poker/Blackjack are my 2 favs...

bring in a set limit you're willing to lose, after you lose it, the best thing is to walk away. Alot of the time people get angry and let their emotions drop more bank... trying to win the money back you just lost by playing more aggressive and usually resulting in you losing even more money...

win some you lose some, but just remember to live to fight another day... (Friday Quote ftw!)

oh and p.s. not even 21 yet, 'nuff said about asians and gambling ;] ahha we start at a young age... speaking of which... TET right around the corner!!!!

I was playing poker throughout my college years, at one point I stopped working and played only poker full time. It was fun and made good money.

I usually hit the tables with a friend of mine, which is the worst idea ever. Many times, I'll lose my prebudgeted amount, wait for him to finish, but realize I can't just wait and jump back in. Repeat the same scenario with him.

I love gambling, I agree with Spool, roulette is my game too. Great excitement when you hit. I only play a few times a year though. If you're going to gamble, gamble for fun and set a limit. Never gamble as a profession or the idea that you can make money. Tell me about your friends stability after 20 years.

If you want to kill time while gambling real money, try betonline.com.

I put in 50 bucks to try out sports betting that my friend likes to do, but they have poker and card tables. 1cent/2cent hold em can kill a lot of time lol

I love roulette, but the odds are just awful!

What game has the best odds in the casino? Is it craps?

I've lost a lot of money due to gambling and am in serious debt.

That being said, I'm not totally against it, one must exercise.

I love Blackjack, Three Card Poker, and Texas Hold Em.

Nothing is illegal unless you're caught.

The "Cake" network is still very active in online poker.

I'll be over in the US this year, I'll have to try out a casino there. The casinos here are like jumped up betting shops.
