2006 E60 M5 screech in cold start
I recently just bought a 2006 E60 M5 with 75k miles. Car is awesome and runs great. However on very cold mornings when i start it it makes a loud whine. Sounds like from the top of the engine. Sounds like power steering. As i turn the wheel i can hear the noise get louder or change in tone. Sometimes the steering wheel feels stiff or like ABS but on the wheel. once i drive it for a while and it gets hot it seems normal. Any recommendations? Do i have to replace the steering pump?
