My 550i

Said goodbye at the end of last year to my faithful 2006 550i. Had her for nearly 10 years, 81k miles on the clock, was a beaut. Never broke down, started to need a bit of oil recently, biggest issue was that I seemed to get through tyres pretty quickly Was hard to find a good alternative to replace, 11 years old and still knocked the socks of the majority of cars out there. Needed to freshen up the alloys though

But am very happy with the new G30, so used now to the upgrade in toys and power I wouldn't want to go back.


I was sitting in a really well preserved black E61 taxi the other day in Wroclaw, Poland and feeling nostalgic. Especially as my beast was RHD and I was sitting on the right as a passenger.

I know that felt weird I'm in the US, and sitting on the left as a passenger would trip me out.
