Full alcantara is sick- it's definitely a beautiful ride, no matter the standard, S or GTS model.

Congrats! Enjoy it in great health!

I am going to wait till someone post same noise for 6MT.
Yeah, not too worried as people said , as long as I drive the car every day or every other day.

I couldn't drive the car for a while due to my wrist inflammation.

The clunk noise is all about the Vanos-Gears , and lots of S65's have it for over years .
I have DCT and when I pump the brake pedal for about 15-20 sec.before pushing the start button I don't have it .
That's why I was asking what kind of transmission you had , because the brake pedal procedure works only for DCT .

Blind spots are a bitch though. I admit, I'm not the absolute best at manual with only being 5'4 I have to engage the clutch with my tippy toes. No heels for this car. I can only drive it confidently in flats

It just takes some getting used to. Especially after a few years of automatic in your 335.

I'm sure even with time- once you feel the car out/ you'll be wearing pumps in no time

Is it bigger than your 335 as in size? Or smaller?

Once I hit 30+ I'll start looking into one as well. I feel like I'd look like I borrowed my dads car if I got a Porsche right now
Look at what's available, and a loaded Cayman GTS like I'd spec one would be in the 90's.
Porsche gets you with your must have options...

both the M4 and Cayman GTS are filtered from lowest price

Looking at them together in the driveway it looks just a tad smaller. But that's not side by side that's 335is parked in front and GTS directly behind it. Sitting in the 335is it feels so huge now I still need an SAV. When the lease is up on the IS I'll get one

Is this the noise that you heard during start up on page 1 of this threat ? This are videos of 6MT with the clunk noise only when S65 is cold => http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=996069

So, what's your M6's ETA?
It ports at port Hueneme July 22nd!

Since it wasn't a European delivery- chances are high that she'll be ready by the end of that following weekend (July 25) from the dealer for pick up

My CA already emailed me letting me know to expect drive off around that time (barring it doesn't get damaged in the voyage over) so I already responded to ensure A) no front license plate is installed during prep B) they don't leave the car in the showroom C)take a picture of the odometer and send it to me the day it arrives at the dealership.

He told me it's already buzzing around the dealership that a 6spd mt is heading there, and he saw their eyes light up as if they have the intention of taking it for a joy ride before I pick up. That's what prompted me asking a photo of the odometer.

No ones going to break my baby in except me!

Expect about 8-15 miles when you take delivery. PDI tech has to drive it a few miles on their test drive route to ensure everything is functional. Then porter has to drive it to fill it up. Then has to be driven to wash bay. So don't flip if it's got a couple miles.

True! Thank you for reminding me about that.

I'll say...20 miles and under and I'll be as happy as can be.

21+....and Mr.Sugarskulls will be more like Mr. sour skulls

Yeah, because a woman needs one to buy stuff.

I'm happy for Sara, she must have solved her financial issues that kept her from therapy. It actually makes me happy to see I was wrong about her and and I will apologize to her later for assuming too much. I thought she was a secretary of some sort looking for a bigger paycheck. Now I realize she truly must be financially free to make this kind of purchases while supporting a child.
