Need help booking vaca for 10 days from now

Here's the scoop. I was just informed it was my parent's 25th Anniversary and not their 24th, so myself and my brother need to help my dad out/surprise them.

He hinted he wanted to go to Barbados and wants all inclusive. He wants to get on the beach and not have to take his wallet out once. Having never booked a vacation before without using a travel agent I'm just looking for a little bit of help.

Anyone ever been to Barbados before and is it a good relaxation spot for a middle-aged married couple? Any good hotel recommendations?

What website can I use for flights & hotels?

If you think Barbados sucks what would be a better spot that is also hot as hell out & sunny?

Appreciate any help that can be given.

From time to time, I've noticed www.pinpointtravel.com has had some lower airfares

What's your/his budget? Have you considered Maldives? I went there for my honeymoon last year. It was top notch. Private island with only 6 room. Each room has 3 individual tent looking structures (fully air conditioned) and has a private pool. Room #1 also comes with its own spa house with steam room. Unlimited # of meals in your room and your private butler comes serves you and only you. A word of advice though, if there are anything special that they want such as beluga caviar or wine with a particular vintage, hookah... you should let them know in advance so that they can fly it in for you.
