dont get a CAI get a RPi scoop paired with a BMC filter or a K&N filter. CAIs have heat soak even thou they have a heat shield. go to 5series.net and you will find that ppl just dont basically give them away over there

just get the filter replacement, not for the performance but for the fact you can rinse and wash it and re use it again.

the car is too heavy and big and an air filter system is not going to make any difference in performance.

if you're down south, you can get it from Trinity and I think Acute Performance has it also.

If you're up north, Sonics carries it.

Also I'm not sure if a CAI kit will help with the MPG since it will be sucking hot air and so far I haven't seen a true CAI for the E60 yet. I think Injen makes one though but I rather just go with the filter such as K&N or BMC.
