Anyone Juicing (vegetables/fruit)

Ordering a Omega juicer in a few days. Just wondering if anyone here likes to juice and if you guys know some good recipes? I plan to start having a juice every morning, probably with Kale, Spinich, Carrots, Ginger, Lemon, and Apple. Something like that..not exact most likely.

I've got a Breville dual disc...love it. My usual ingredients include carrots, apples, pears, beets, ginger, celery, kale, oranges, yams and spinach. Always go with organic, especially with anything grown in the ground.

I got a Jack La Laine power juicer. Lmao.

I juice beets, carrots, and celery together. Makes for a neutral taste.

Other than that, juicing all types of fruits is pretty common in my household. Oranges, grapes, apples, strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, pears, etc.

Hahahaha I had a good laugh at the thread title. I really thought you meant juicing. I was wondering if I missed something with the (fruit/veg) part though

I like mixing it up with the juicing. Always good to try new things, sometimes the weirdest combo's work.

We have the same one. It's epic. I can put it together, juice and clean it in 20 minutes or less every morning.
Favorite juice is 2 whole celery's 1 yellow or red pepper, 1 spinach wrapped carrot and 1/2 an apple. almost no sugar about 12-16 ounces of beverage, little spice from the pepper. I make that about 3 days a week.

Definitely want to start juicing soon, where do you guys get your fruits and veggies? Supermarkets or local produce shops?

Not well versed in how to get the good stuff.

I did it for two weeks, no cheating and lost 14 pounds. My girl told me I look like her little brother now so started maintaining with healthy meals in between. It was not to hard because I googled some great recipes and would make 1/2 a gallon in the morning to not have to clean out the juicer 3 times a day. I still juice in the mornings 3-4 times a week and since I eat a few cheat meals on weekends I juice all day on Mondays. I have maintained my weight of 180-185 for over two months now. --

I wonder how to judge how many calories are in the juices. For example 100 grams of carrot is 45 calories I think..so I'd like to know what 100g of carrot juice would be. I guess impossible to know but I like to know how many calories I am taking in.

I have a pretty nice breville, but it's a pain to clean so I never use it. Anyone have any tips?

I have Omega VRT 350HD. Best juicer ever. It juices everything.
I love pineapple + grape fruit + orange juice.
Also like carrot+apple, watermelon, cucumber+ginger+apple, grapes.
I really like to make fresh coconut milk but getting the meat out of the coconut is too much pain.
