1) Go to www.typingtest.com

2) Select 1 minute test.

3) Select "Aesop's Fables"

4) Post Results

5) No cheating

Any device is allowed, but post what device you used. Ex. 85 WPM (standard keyboard, iPhone, iPad, etc).

Bored at the moment. I'll bite.

45 wpm (not accurate, it's more around the 60 range, slow data connection screwed me)
4 mistyped words
41 wpm adjusted speed

I call bullshit due to work pc lag.

Wireless HP keyboard on Lenovo work horse.

I'm doing it again.

Still with lag, this time 63. Damn you....all productivity is lost today.

Second time was 63 WPM. I'm sure it would be faster, probably not much faster though, if our network speeds were just slightly faster than dial-up.

In our defense, we are a bunch of men on a car forum. Testosterone and competitiveness are in no shortage here. We'd compete in a floral center arrangement making contest if you put us all in a room with the supplies. Then we'd fight over which one is the prettiest, while making derogatory comments about each other's sexual orientation and promiscuity of each other's mothers, all while having a blast.
