'Smaht Pahk' Super Bowl Ad
https://www.motor1.com/news/395153/2...ta-super-bowl/
Thank god no Wahlburgs were in this Chris Evans capt america, Rachel Dratch SNL and John Krasinski office Off topic: I work in Boston's "back bay" neighborhood a lot, I was fighting for a parking space with my 19' work truck, who do I see in the other car? Chris Evans, I said sorry captain it's all yours! another space opened up so we got to talk for a min, I asked why are you here? Any filming? He said no, I live here off Marlborough St Boston doesn't have movie stars, it's nice to see some local stars keep a place in the city and not just live in LA or NYC Edit: Defending my post, if we can have a guy start a thread with 3 pages about "men's feet" or "what lotion you use?" I think a semi car related funny commercial fits well in the off topic forum |

So my question is this, the parking spot is too tight for you so you use your automatic park assist, what happens when the guy parked next to you has to get out and doesn't have the fancy tech.....I know If you blocked me in like that you'd likely end up with some pretty nasty door dings on your high tech car.

I was raised in the 90's, I'm fine with teck it's been around me my whole life but auto pilot cars, self parking and rear view cam I can't deal with, I personally feel more comfortable doing it my self.
The emergency stop features that manufactures are starting to implement I think are great to prevent those stop n go mini accidents I see every morning driving on mass pike during morning rush, lane departure warning not for me but I want my kids to use it etc. This feature of parking in a tight space is cool but like salty dog said what about the other car? I dunno? I think it's best use would be for tight (single) car parking spaces, those I see all over my city, old cramped garages built for small cars not f150 crew cabs, good teck coming our way for sure |

As a New Englander this made me LOL. I work with a bunch of guys from Rhode Island and Boston, and they all have strong accents. I make fun of them daily, to the point of writing e-mails to them emphasizing the Boston accent.

I grew up in RI and got a lot of shit for my accent when I moved to Miami for college (in 1986...). I found it quite annoying since I didn’t think I was the one with an accent. I have managed to get rid of it but it still surfaces once in a while.

Loved the commercial, although to native ears it sounded a hair forced/exaggerated which may have been the point Seth |

BTW, does this stupid feature remote un-park? If not then the joke is on the owner who remote parks their car in an impossibly tight spot and then can't access their own car! |

Sort of related, since it's a Super Bowl ad.
The whole thing is amusing, but specifically 0:59-1:07. I admit I laughed-- especially since I watched it on a larger screen. |

I found that one much less amusing, probably because I still struggle to see why anyone needs something like Alexa to adjust their thermostat, turn off the lights or play music. But those who use it will probably be more amused than I was.

I thought the Nixon part was better. I did laugh at that part.
