Rodgers a $40 mil cap hit if traded before June 1st, otherwise spread over 2 years. Not happening.

Yikes. Things could be worse as you could be a Knicks fan like myself.

Do Packers fans want Rodgers back, or are they ready to see what Love can do? Just a general question not considering the complicating factors with the contract finance stuff. As a Vikes fan, watching 30+ years of hall of fame quarterbacks for the Packers, I have an opinion

Well, I wanted them to trade Rodgers before giving him that huge contract. Would hve been a PR nightmare to trade the 2 time MVP but he's never going to play that well again with the lineup they have. Rumors of Packers getting 2 first and a second round pick for him a year ago. I would have taken that in a minute. Nearly untradable now, and going to be pissed off that managment will get rid of some of his favorite players. You know, the ones that are washed up but he won't admit it.....Cobb, Bakhtiari, etc.
Don't think Love will ever be a productive starter but remains to be seen I guess. And with Lafluer already saying he's bringing back the idiot that runs the defense, I think the Vikes and Lions will have the division for a while.

Got it. Not sure what to think of the NFC north next year. Are the Lions really good, and will they sustain what they started to build this year, or will they regress in true Lions fashion? The Vikes have so much work to do to fix their defense it feels like a couple years of rebuilding. The Bears might stand to have the biggest upside next year. I could see all the NFC north teams being around 500 next season, and not sure who I would pick as a favorite to win the division.

Do you trust the Bears not to screw up this years draft? They need a LOT of help. Maybe in a few years....
If I was the Vikes I would rebuild the Oline then the defense. You cant waste the skill players they have, even counting Kirk. That's a great asembly of talent that can't be utilized with a weak Oline.
Hard to figure Detroit....but they've been drafting early for YEARS now, they got to have a fair amount of talent. Very good Oline for one. And Goff plays well within the system.

I don't really know what to think but feels like the Vikes are so far off from being a good team and I can't get behind them being dominant in the north. They are the NFC version of the Titans. How they won 13 games this year is incredible. And overall there seems to be a big culture and/or attitude piece that is missing. Aside from Jefferson (and I guess Patrick Peterson) there aren't really personalities that stand out and help shape the identity of the team. There needs to be more players with mojo and swagger, that are able to strike fear in their opponents.

TXSTYLE, your thoughts on coach and QB? Payton might go with the Broncos so are you happy with McCarthy's return? Dump Dak for Lamar, Jimmy G or Drama Arod? Another WR? What's it gonna take for your team to get over that hump?

No need in making any excuses for My Boys F30lolz , they just got beat. Plain and simple. We can sit here all day and say Dallas should have won that game, but the fact is Dak got beat by Mr. Irrelevant, and throwing two pics in the red zone doesn't help. However, the defense looked on point. Did a pretty good job of containing Purdy, and only allowed 19 pts to a team that's averaged 30+points their last 12 games. Last team to hold them under 20 was the Saints back on 11/27. But again….no excuses here! Cowboys just got beat, and that's all that matters.

Not a packers fan, but I think it would be foolish to get rid of him for next season. You could tell by the end of the season that he was starting to develop some chemistry with his young wrs, Watson especially, and I could see him and the wrs taking the next step next season.

And if im another team, I wouldnt have any confidence that he would come in and put in the work with my wrs/offense and not be out doing dmt with rogan during the offseason. Obviously, other teams wouldnt feel that way and would trade the farm for him, but if my team did that, i wouldnt be a fan.

Bears would be smart to trade that #1 pick for a haul and rebuild the team that way. I think they also have a good amount of cap space, so they can get a premier wr to help Fields' development. NFC North could be in a position like the NFC East was this season, 4 good teams that could potentially make the playoffs.

Vikings are such a weird team. 2021 season, they go 6-8 in 1 score games. 2022 they go 11-0 (11-1 if you count playoffs) in 1 score games. Neither of those are really sustainable, so who knows what happens this year.

Im not worried about Dak's dead cap hit, since hes not getting cut/traded. He had a down year, but historically has been a top 10 qb. There are much bigger issues in Dallas, WR, OL, HB, DB, DL, LB, OC/DC (assuming DQ leaves) that need to be addressed before we even think about the qb

0:39 is this from the Cowboys' official Twitter?! If yes, then I think they are srsly thinking about the QB position.

This dude right here is "MR COWBOY"!
Nobody is as dominant in the NFL on defense as this young man, period. Watch as Baldy breaks his tape down against the Niners.
Yes. It's too bad we have a overpaid QB, inept Head Coach and questionable Offensive Coordinator.
But if I'm building a Professional Football Team today, I'm starting with Micah Parsons no questions.
I played linebacker and safety and I'm a fan of the sport, this dude is other worldly...

Bro. You have summed up my thoughts exactly!

I'm done with Dak. IDGAF what his regular season stats have been. He is NOT the answer for this team. He's had 7 years to prove it! I'm definitely taking any of the choices you mentioned above over him.
One stud Receiver. One competent Head Coach. And Lamar.
SUPERBOWL bound without question.

Our Defense completely nullified Deebo Samuel, one of if not the best in the game.

I'm actually afraid of losing Dan Quinn more than anything...

Except for the Eagles' Haasan Reddick...
Take a look at their stats from the regular season:

H. Reddick: 16.0 sacks, 26 QB hits, 11 tackles for loss, 5 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 3 passes defended
M. Parsons: 13.5 sacks, 27 QB hits, 14 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 3 passes defended
Those are pretty darn similar stat lines.

Elliot got BLOWED UP on that last play. I've seen him block before, but there was something about him starting from a crouch that just messed him up.

McCaffrey has always been a thorn in my side. Hopefully he can continue this post and be a thorn in the Eagles.

Vikings HAVE to get some D. No matter that they have a some serious O-power, they can't continue to trust to outscore at 30+ per game. Fun to watch, but . . .

Rodgers just doesn't seem to want to play, I see that in his body language. OR maybe that's just him getting old.
